Friendly staff, small town feel.
I am in the Army. My family and I were traveling home for vacation from El Paso Texas and my SUV broke down. It was towing my rv and my family of seven as well. The my RV insurance company's tow truck never showed. We all baked in the hot June sun for 3 hours. A man who I will call my first good samaritan stopped by helped us. Towed my RV to a park and drove me to Walmart to get supplies for my family. He left me a number for a mechanic and told me to call if I needed anything. If you check the review I left on Oakland Baptists' Google you will know the other half of the story...but for now I will fill you in on this half. The next day this man and a friend...another good samaritan...braught my family of seven diner as a suprise and checked on us again. His friend continued to check on us daily as did he. She called and asked if we needed anything and they both came by. The last day she braught us dinner and hugged us. If you are looking for a church...I can tell you that you should give Tate a chance. I am for ever grateful and I ask you to pray for this church and the two members who helped us get back on the road. God is at work in Corinth.
