Very unprofessional staff especially Rhonda Wilbanks. The funeral home is outdated and whoever is the embalmer appears to me doesn't know what they're doing the bodies all unpresentable. I could go on but I'd rather take it up with the state Attorney General's office for an investigation.
I had the unlucky experience of having to deal with the unexpected death of my aunt. This funeral home provided me with comfort and complete compassion throughout my families time of loss. Not only were they kind and compassionate, they didn't rob us of our life saving either. They are anywhere from 30% to 60% cheaper than any of the competition I have checked out. Though the price was less, the service was much more.
I have had many dealings with Magnolia Funeral Home as a local pastor. This year however, I had to use them for family not once, but twice. The first time was the loss of my wife's aunt and the staff was compassionate and very professional. The second time was the sudden and unexpected loss of our granddaughter, who was to Charlene and I, like a daughter. The entire staff, most especially Rhonda Wilbanks, was more than exceptional. They saw to every single detail with the utmost of care. They dealt with an emotionally charged family dynamic professionally and compassionately. As the family patriarch and as the pastor, I had no one to lean on, except for EVERYONE at Magnolia. They are phenomenal! This is NOT a business to them, but a calling. We recently had to deal with the sudden loss of a very special daddy/grandaddy. Everyone here went out of their way to make this as easy as possible for all of us. They also went the extra step to set things up just like we wanted. Mr Browning was especially kind and helpful - he was facing cancer surgery in less than 2 weeks, at that time. God bless him and all the rest of that special staff.
